MID2 IGBT modules are available for order
The range of IGBT modules manufactured by Proton‑Electrotex JSC has been expanded with low‑inductance MID2 modules. These modules are designed for compact systems that require high levels of efficiency and reliability. Mechanical strength and high thermal cycling performance guarantee the reliability and long service life of the devices.
The MID2 series includes devices with voltages of 1200 V and 1700 V and currents from 300 A to 750 A. Detailed information and technical documentation for these products can be found in the relevant section.
The standardized housing and soldered design make the module quick and easy to install, while its flat design, measuring just 17 mm in height, allows for the creation of very compact inverter systems.
The improved design of the MID2 module includes a number of upgrades:
1. The power busbar cross-section has been increased to accommodate high-current devices.
2. The PCB layout under the thermistor has been optimized.
3. The mounting points have been redesigned and reinforced.
4. The housing has been redesigned to improve the ease of attaching the busbars to the module.
One of the key considerations during the development of the IGBT MID2 was the localisation of materials and components. It should be noted that the devices in this range have the highest possible level of localisation.
The modules are optionally available with dual-channel DI215-17-E-1 drivers, manufactured in-house, which can be installed directly on the module or connected via a wired connection.
